Obituary for Virginia Grigg Griffin
Virginia Grigg Griffin, 94 passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2014 in Emporia, Va. She had resided at the Eugene Bloom Retirement Center in Emporia. She previously resided at Imperial Plaza in Richmond, Va. She was the widow of Guy W. Griffin of Richmond. She was predeceased by her parents, Marion and Pat Lou Grigg Sr., infant child, Stephanie Ann Purdy, siblings; Marion Grigg Jr., Walter Allen Grigg Sr., Lucille G. Goodwyn, and Charlotte G. Watkins. She is survived by her brothers; Captain William H. Grigg and wife Sye, Charles I. Grigg Sr. and wife Bette, sister-in-law Mrs. Lucy Grigg (Walter), and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Emporia Cemetery, Brunswick Avenue, Emporia, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greensville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
