Obituary for Donald Thaddeus Xavier Dolloff, Sr.
Donald Thaddeus Xavier Dolloff, Sr., 85, passed away on July 10, 2023. He was the son of the late, Thaddeus Xavier Dolloff and Rita A. Breen Dolloff. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joan Margaret Liebold Dolloff, son, Craig Charles Dolloff, sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Dolloff Tucciarone, Rita Dolloff Bottillo, brother, Thaddeus Dolloff, and his beloved cockatoo, Mookie.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughters, Diane Dolloff of SF, CA., Cynthia Dolloff Arbore of Deposit, NY., son, Donald Thaddeus Xavier Dolloff II and wife Denise of North Waterboro, ME., adopted daughter, Cynthia Davis of Franklin, VA., along with four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dolloff, Allison Joan Dolloff, Amethyst Arbore, Dustin Arbore.
Donald served in the United States Navy with an honorable discharge. He was a member of International Sheet Metal Worker's Local Union 28 for over fifty years. Don was an avid Lionel train collector and proud to be Irish.
The family will receive friends at Echols Funeral Home on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be held at Echols Funeral Home on Sunday, July 23, 2023 starting at 2:00 P.M. with Father Jong officiating. Interment will follow to Emporia Cemetery.
