Obituary for Joseph Nicholas Romandetti
Joseph Nicholas Romandetti (Big Joe), 71, passed away on December 11, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 3, 1951 to the late Angelo and Mary Romandetti.
Left to Cherish his memory is his former wife, Joanne Romandetti, son, Michael Romandetti (Allison), daughter, Jennifer Hise (Matt), brother, Bob Dahling, four amazing grandchildren, Sophia, Paige, Joseph and Barrett, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Mary Romandetti and his beloved hunting dog, Daphne.
He went to the school of hard knocks where he excelled in “driving”. He was carefree, rarely serious, and could talk his way out of almost any situation. His sarcasm, deep voice, jokes, meat pies and Sunday Gravy will truly be missed by all that knew him.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at a time and date to be announced.
In his memory donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
