Thelma Mitchell Powell, 86, of Skippers passed away on October 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Pryor Powell, Sr. and her grandson Craig Powell. She is survived by her son Edwin P. Powell, Jr. “Bulldog” and wife Robin; grandchildren Keith Powell and wife Julie, Kim Buckner and husband Doug and Ed Powell and wife Brandii; great-grandchildren Joshua Craig Powell, Hannah Powell, Kameron Powell, Colby Powell and Ethan Brinkley. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a dedicated employee of C. S. Livesay. A visitation will be held Wednesday, 6-8, at Echols Funeral Home Chapel.
