Obituary for Siglinde Von Der Massen Ivey
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of my mother, Siglinde “Siggi” Ivey, who left us on June 13th, 2024, after a beautifully lived life. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. She was married to Thomas Ivey for 40 years. She was proceeded in death by her stepson Christopher Ivey and leaves behind two sons Richard and Michael Hartman, 5 grandchildren Jordan, Andrew, Kirsten, Daniel and Camdyn and one great grandson Bennett. She also leaves behind an extended family in her hometown of Lutjenburg Germany. She had a passion for traveling especially back to her home country of Germany. She loved animals and was an active member in her church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at 2:00 PM at Echols Funeral Home 806 Brunswick Avenue Emporia Va 23847.
