Obituary for Ruth Kauer Phillips
Ruth Kauer Phillips 100, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Jack Phillips, parents, Peter and Isabel Kauer and sisters, Lila Landrum and Shirley Campbell. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Kathy Clark (Charlie), five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Ruth was a First Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corp. She was stationed in Texas. She was a nurse for over 50 Years. Ruth and David got married on April 14th, 1951. She worked as a nurse in the ICU, trauma department and burn unit. Ruth was very dedicated to being a nurse and enjoyed helping others. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
