Obituary for Rosemary Lorraine Seif
Rosemary Lorraine Seif, 81, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Giovanina Specht, son, James J. McDonnell Jr., brothers, Steven Specht and Edward Specht, and sister, Kathleen Selko.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, George William Seif Jr., daughters, Jeannette Elanie Mary Ogden (Donald) and Sharon Lorraine Pfeiffer, sons, David Paul Seif (Gina), George William Seif III and Jeffrey Alan Seif (Elaine), grandchildren, Jessica Caddell, Joseph Ogden, Stefanie Dovak, Janine Seif, Victoria Seif, Tiana DiCostanzo, Elyssa DiCostanzo, Jenna DiCostanzo, Danielle McCord, Steven Dawes and Tyler Seif, brother, Robert Specht, along with numerous great grandchildren.
Rosemary loved traveling to Atlantic City. She enjoyed reading and ceramics. Rosemary was a volunteer for the hospital, hospice and the Humane Society. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Saint Richard’s Catholic Church starting at 11:00am with Father Jong officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Queen of All Saints Cemetery, 115-Wheeler Road, Central Islip, NY 11722.
