Obituary for Robert Earl Clarke, Sr.
Robert Earl Clarke, Sr., 80 of Emporia, Virginia passed away on August 15, 2013. He was the son of Kenneth and Hallie Clarke. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Barbara; sons Robert E. Clarke, Jr. (Missy), Kelvin E. Clarke (Melanie) and Brian W. Clarke; grandsons Nicholas Clarke and step-grandson Hunter Seal; granddaughters Chelsea Clarke, Lindsay Clarke, Mia Clarke and Zoe Clarke. He is also survived by one sister Carolyn C. Clarke, sister-in-law Susie L. Clarke, sister-in- law and brother- in-law Joyce and Ben Garner and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Tommy and Cecelia Whitehead. He was preceded in death by a brother A.B. Clarke, sister Jewel C. Rose and step-granddaughter Heather Seal. He was a long time member of Monumental United Methodist Church. Visitation for friends will be held at Echols Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, 2:00pm at Monumental United Methodist Church followed by interment in Greensville Memorial Cemetery.
