Obituary for Peggy Moore Blankenship
> Peggy Moore Blankenship passed away on April 16, 2026 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late James B. Moore and Ruth Stainback Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Richard Ted Blankenship and sisters, Martha Moore Allen and Shirley Moore Lamm.

> Peggy retired from Greensville County Farm Service Agency after 35 years of service. She was a faithful member of Main Street Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and working in her yard. She loved her flowers.
>
> She is survived by one sister, Helen Moore Rose and numerous nieces and nephews.
>
> Peggy had numerous neighbors and special friends that helped her after the death of her husband. We would like to give a special thanks to Terri Vick and the employees of Bloom Retirement Center who cared for her during her final years.
>
> The service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 2pm at Main Street Baptist Church in Emporia.
>
> In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Main Street Baptist Church in Emporia, Virginia.
