Obituary for Maude Elizabeth Spence
Maude Elizabeth Spence, 91, of Emporia passed away on September 10, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Maggie Spence, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her sisters, Daisy Lambert and husband Marshall of Mechanicsville, VA and Mollie S. Roberts of Emporia, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a longtime resident of Emporia Manor for 37 years and a longtime member of Spring United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held Sunday, 2-3pm, at Spring United Methodist Church with the funeral service starting at 3pm. Interment will be in Spring United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spring United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Joseph Dickens, 2271 Spring Church Road, Skippers, VA 23879.
