Obituary for Mary Evelyn Moore
Mary Evelyn Moore, 96, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. She was born in Greensville County, VA, on June 12, 1924. Mary worked for many years at Franklin Braid Manufacturing where she worked in both the plant and as a secretary. She also was a former member of the Independence United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Moore, as well as her parents, George W. Anderton and Mary Allen Anderton. She is survived by her only son, Jerry Moore and his wife Ann, along with two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 19, 2020, at Greensville Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Tim Jones officiating.
