Obituary for Kerry Dawson Mitchell
Kerry Dawson Mitchell, 58, of Emporia passed away on January 21, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Butler Mitchell; son, John Dawson Jordan Mitchell; sister, Dale Belmonte and husband Bill; brother, H. Grayson Mitchell, Jr. and wife Loretta; niece, Kim Walton and husband Darrell; nephews, Kenneth Mitchell and wife Melissa, Joe Belmonte and wife Rachael and John Belmonte; several great- nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Champ. A visitation will be held Thursday, 6-8 pm, at Echols Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held Friday, 2 pm, at Echols Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Emporia Volunteer Fire Department or Greensville Volunteer Rescue Squad. Condolences may be sent to www.Echolsfuneralhome.com
