Obituary for Katha Sadler Miller
Katha Sadler Miller, 78, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025. She was the daughter of the late, Younger O. Sadler, Sr. and Katherine Lundy Sadler. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother, Younger O. Sadler Jr. “Mutt”.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years Ralph T. Miller; son, Ralph Owen Miller (Denise), and her beloved grandson, Colton Younger Miller who she loved to spoil every chance she had.
Katha was a lifelong member of Independence United Methodist Church. She graduated from RPI with an Associate’s degree in Business. She worked at Emporia Medical Associates and later worked for Sadler Brothers Oil where she retired. In her spare time, Katha loved to work in the yard, garden, cook and travel with her lifelong friends. She was famous for her rum cakes and sweet pickles. She was also a caretaker to many around her.
A graveside service will be held at Independence Cemetery on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Hannah Lee officiating.
