Obituary for Jesse Neal Allen
Jesse Neal Allen, 85, of Brink Road, Emporia, Va., departed his earthly home on Saturday, June 30, 2018.
> He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Virginia Allen. His sons: Lorn and wife Annie Allen; Jeffery and wife Sandy Allen. His daughters, June Walker and Frances and husband John Edwards.
> His grandchildren, Jesse and his wife Kelly Allen with son Neal and daughter McKenley; Aaron and his wife Elaine Allen with sons Asa, Troy, Silas and daughters Cora and Vera of Richmond; Krystal and husband Jeff Miller with son Beck and daughter Lashley of Lawrenceville; Jessica and her husband Elliott Petry with daughter Isabelle and son Noah of Christiansburg; Leanna and husband Dave Collins with sons Blake and Jase of North Tazewell; Carrie Walker of Richmond; John Jr and his wife Brittney with son Carter.
> He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Marguerite Allen; His sister, Frances Allen; His brother, Lorn Allen; His son-in-law, Ricky Walker; His granddaughter, Amanda Jane Edwards.
> He was a very active member of Fountain Creek Baptist Church, where he
> was a Deacon, Trustee, Sunday School Teacher. He and his wife share many special memories together including large family holiday gatherings and family trips to Disney World. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Echols Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Fountain Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Griles officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery.
