Obituary for Dorothy Patricia Ligon Rawlings
Dorothy Patricia “Patsy” Ligon Rawlings passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 83. She was born on October 21, 1941 in Halifax County, N.C., and was the daughter of the late William Hezekiah Ligon and Dorothy Kathleen Rook Ligon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Ligon and Dorothy K. Rook Ligon.
Left to cherish her memory is her three sons, William Scott Rawlings, Warren Christopher Rawlings (LeAnn), and Jeffrey Watkins Rawlings (Stephanie), sister, Kaye Ligon Norwood, five grandchildren, Justin Watkins Rawlings (Lexi), William Chase Rawlings (Grayson), Logan Warren Rawlings, Seth Ryan Rawlings, Christopher Allen Graham Rawlings, two great-grandchildren, Arlie Brooke Rawlings and Whiley Jeffrey Rawlings.
The family will receive friends at Patsy’s Home, 202 Greensville Ave., Emporia Va., 23847, on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greensville County Volunteer Fire Department.
