Doris Whitlock Duncan, 90, of Emporia passed away on May 9, 2013. She was predeceased by her first husband J.V. Shepard and her second husband Herman Duncan. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Shepard Jones Fishler and husband Saul and Gloria Shepard Myers; grandchildren Karen K. Carter and husband Mike, Brian D. Jones and wife Susan and Stacy J. Jackson and husband Gene and 9 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Monday, 2pm, at Echols Funeral Home Chapel with visitation starting one hour prior to the service.
