Obituary for DeeDee Clary
Loving Mother, wife, friend, and daughter Deedee Clary gained her wings on Tuesday February 10, 2026. She is now reunited with her late son James Caldwell III. Daughter of Dorothy Polites and late Al Nuss. Sister of Crispin and Robert Nuss. Wife of loving husband of 37 years Preston "Tony" Clary. Daughter in law of Virginia M. Clary and late Preston B. Clary. Mother of James Caldwell III, Jennifer Clary, and Anthony "Bubba" Clary. Granmother and wonderful Nana to Nathaniel Clary, Mackinley Powell, and Sophia Cutcliff. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Deedee was a hard working, tough woman who always had a smile and a joke for anyone, especially her work families. She was a long time employee of Franklin Braid, Walmart, and Lowes Distribution. She loved the beach where she would search for beautiful shells to bring home. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching her TV showes and doing puzzles. Deedee was the type of woman that never turned away a child in need, always opening her doors to anyone of the nieghborhood children.
Deedee will also be missed by her many "adopted" children, Timmy, Kayla, Andrew, Kia, Micey, Jr, and many more throughout the years. Deedee fought hard the last year of her life and passed by her husband and daughter in the peace of her home. A simple yet strong and loving woman, Deedee will be greatly missed. Until we are reunited.
